Sampling is carried out to ascertain the quality of the cargo and any possible contamination.The most representative results are produced when samples are taken at loading and or discharge of the cargo at mutually agreed acceptable points and following internationally accepted procedures such as GAFTA procedures.
After drawing samples they are sealed by parties involved and sent to GAFTA approved labs for anaysis.
